Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to fix them

  • Make sure you're on Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric loader (not Forge or NeoForge).
  • Verify Java 21 is installed. PrismLauncher will warn you if it's missing -- Modrinth and Feather include their own Java.
  • Allocate at least 4GB RAM (4096 MB). With 25 mods, less than 4GB will cause out-of-memory crashes.
  • If you added extra mods beyond the pack, remove them. They may conflict with included mods.
  • Delete the .fabric folder inside your instance and relaunch -- this regenerates mod configs.
  • If you imported the .mrpack correctly, all mods should be auto-installed. Try removing and re-importing the modpack.
  • Check that Fabric loader is installed for the instance -- the .mrpack should handle this automatically.
  • Make sure you're launching the correct instance (the one created from the .mrpack import).
  • Restart your launcher completely and try again.
  • Allocate 6-8GB RAM if your system has 16GB+ (but never more than half your total).
  • Make sure OptiFine is NOT installed. OptiFine conflicts with Sodium and will tank your FPS.
  • Close browser tabs, Discord overlay, and other heavy apps while playing.
  • In video settings (Sodium options), try lowering render distance to 12-16 chunks.
  • If you're on a laptop, make sure Minecraft is using your dedicated GPU (not integrated graphics). Check your NVIDIA/AMD control panel.
  • Some features need to be enabled manually. Open settings with /sh (SkyHanni) or /skyblocker (Skyblocker).
  • Make sure you're on Hypixel Skyblock -- these mods only activate on Skyblock islands, not in the lobby.
  • If features are grayed out, check if they require a specific Skyblock profile type or island.
  • Try updating the mod configs: delete the config/skyhanni or config/skyblocker folder and relaunch.
  • This modpack is for Minecraft 1.21.11 ONLY. Check that your instance is set to exactly 1.21.11, not 1.21, 1.21.1, or 1.21.4.
  • Make sure Fabric Loader is up to date (latest version). Update it through your launcher.
  • Don't mix mods from different Minecraft versions. Remove any manually added mods and try again.
  • This is usually a Hypixel issue, not a mod issue. Check Hypixel's status on their Discord or Twitter.
  • Make sure your Minecraft account is a Java Edition account (not Bedrock).
  • Try connecting to mc.hypixel.net with port 25565 (the default).
  • If you're getting kicked immediately, check if any of your mods are sending disallowed packets. The mods in this pack are all Hypixel-safe, but manually added mods might not be.
  • Make sure you're using 'Install from file' (the + button), not dragging the file into the app.
  • Check that the .mrpack file isn't corrupted -- try re-downloading it.
  • Update Modrinth App to the latest version.
  • Try restarting the Modrinth App completely before importing.

Still stuck? Most issues are caused by wrong Minecraft version, missing Java 21, or not enough RAM. Double-check those three things first.
